A transnational meeting launches the European project for the inclusion of NEET youth.
The SkillSphere project was officially launched with a transnational meeting held in Bucharest, Romania, on June 17-18, 2025. Hosted by the coordinating organization Ateliere Fără Frontiere, the two-day event brought together representatives from the eight partner organizations from Romania, Italy, and Bulgaria. This face-to-face meeting represented a key milestone, laying the foundation for a shared vision and coordinated implementation strategy for the next 24 months.
A shared strategy for 180 NEET youth
During the meeting, partners engaged in collaborative sessions to define the project’s operational framework, discuss roles and responsibilities, and align on key deliverables. Particular attention was dedicated to the strategy for identifying and engaging 180 NEET youth across the three countries, as well as the structure and content of training courses aimed at enhancing digital, legal, financial, and linguistic skills.
The consortium also discussed the design of mentoring and career guidance pathways, coordination of internships in collaboration with social enterprises, and the development of a multilingual online platform to support peer-to-peer learning over time.
Strategies for communication, visibility, and impact monitoring were outlined to ensure consistent and effective dissemination of project outcomes.
The meeting concluded with a strong sense of cohesion and commitment among the partners, united by a common goal: promoting inclusion, empowerment, and employability of vulnerable youth through concrete, scalable, and sustainable actions at both national and transnational levels.
